[Electronics-Talk] Obtaining a New Computer

Well, I'm also in the market for a new computer. I'm aiming for a laptop
because of the versatility. In looking though, what I look at is not
getting the most advanced hardware but one step below the fanciest. In that
way, I've got good but I'm not paying a premium price for the components.
Finally, I want to make sure that the computer keyboard is going to be one
that I'm familiar with the different aspects of the keyboard. For this
reason I'm looking at a 17 inch, but my thought is that I get to check it
out in the store first so I'm not going to be screwed when I get it home.

I'm actually planning on getting mine from Best Buy, because they sell the
Lenovo, and they have the geek squad you can sign up for. All around it's
not a bad deal.

I hope my perspective helps at least a little.

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] Obtaining a New Computer

Hi Everyone,

This does not appear to be the place to ask this question, but I am not sure
whom/which list to ask.

I am looking for a Windows computer-not sure if I really want a laptop or
desktop-so insights about that would be gratefully received, too.

Darla
