Hi,

The desktop from kevin sounds sweet.
Even if he could offer laptops for another $100-150 would be a good deal.

Thanks, CJ; that sounds exactly what I need; can I just call Dell and order
it?

You can get a full size keyboard, complete with a numeric keypad, on a 15
inch laptop. Both my personal HP Envy, and my work Dell Latitude, have full
size keyboards with a numeric keypad. I myself find the 15 inch foot print
to be the perfect size for a laptop these days. IMHO, and I5 processor will
be more than adequate for most tasks. For home use, 8G of RAM is probably
also sufficient. Not sure what the difference in price is these days, but
it's probably worth it to get an SSD drive.
