I am a firm believer in that Defender series. Yes, it is good for making the
phone stand up and also clipping to a belt or waist band of slacks or
whatever kind of pants.

Hi Tracy,

The Otterbox cases aren't that heavy. They have several kinds. I've had the
kind with a clip that Vince is talking about. You can remove it if you don't
want to use it. The older versions of the case had a screen protector and
clip all in one case that came in three pieces that you put together. The
current version has two pieces and the screen protector is a separate
purchase. You can stand up the phone using this clip, it works for making
videos or for scanning documents. The case I have is called the Defender
Series Otterbox case, Amazon and other stores carry them, as well as the
Otterbox website. They make other cases that don't have the clip.

Best Regards,

Beth

Hi Vince.
Won't the Otterbox add about a pound to my phone's weight? Otherwise,
sounds OK.

Purchase an Otter Box Protector with belt clip. The belt clip is made so
that you can stand up the phone like a TV screen. This will enable you to
stand your iPhone up so you can be seen by others via your camera.
