I found a really cool thing. Since it isn't starting the fryer when you
press cook now, I found a work around. If you have an echo or dot or one of
those a lady enabled devices, and you have it connected to your fryer.
After you have pressed the cook now button and the app tells you to press
start, just ask your a lady to resume air fryer and it will take right off.
Yes, it is definitely running what you programmed in to the app. You can't
ask her to start the air fryer, because she will ask you, at what
temperature and you don't need that because it has already been programmed
in by the app. So, asking her to resume seems to be the way to go. Hope
this makes sense.

Um Yikes! I wanted to reassure everyone who has bought one of these air
fryers that for some reason, it does ask the user to press the button on
their air fryer to start the cooking process. I have helped two people set
theirs up in the last few days and even though mine does not require me to
press the start button on my fryer, both my friends are finding that they
have to press it. This is an annoyance indeed. My friends tell me that they
just have to press the start button which is located right above and
slightly to the right of the handle. Both my friends also have echo devices
and we figured out a work around where you can ask your echo to do things
like turn on your air frier at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and it will work
without you having to locate the start button... Sorry for not responding
for the last couple of days. I am not that great at checking emails at the
best of times but just joined an Android email list which is flooding my
Inbox like crazy so my emails are getting lost in the shuffle. Feel free to
message me on fb or call me if you guys have any questions. I remember when
I hated assistive tech and owe so much to the friends who were patient with
me as I learned to be better with it... Now I can't live without my awesome
tech and enjoy sharing my knowledge. I moonlight as an assistive technology
