I don't think I need a lot of storage so can probably get by pretty inexpensively.

Carol, you do not have to use the face recognition. I don’t use it either. I have the new SE and I really like it. My only problem, however, is that it was a gift for me and they bought the least amount of gigabytes. I would’ve liked to of had a little more room but, it was a wonderful gift so I can except it. You can buy up to I think, 256 gigs if you want to. Of course, the More storage you have, the more expensive the phone. Good luck. I think you will be happy with it.
