Hi,
Even the old Braille Technical Press had some articles about soldering. However, I was glad to see this current effort because the publications mentioned really spoke to a previous generation of blind people of which some of us were members. I did some soldering and generally succeeded where I needed to, but circuits today are very different and require much finer control. I hope that someone writes up some of the findings and recommendations of these workshops and have expressed that hope to people involved.
Best regards,
Steve Jacobson

There was a publication, back in the 70's called the Braille Technical File, that had a series of detailed articles on how a blind person could solder. It was a great publication, and it may have been put on-line -- I can't remember.

Many years ago I read an article in New Beacon Magazine called Wiring By Hand and it gives a useable technique for blind people to do soldering used as far back as World War II.
