[Electronics-Talk] Baseball audio

Rick,
I just looked at the MLB app under audio today and there is something to
click on that brings up a calendar for previous seasons. As I mentioned I
need to play with it more, but there are entire audio games as I was just
listening to one earlier. This might be a brand new addition to the app as
haven't looked for couple weeks until today. Will play around with it some
more as well.

He Drew, and Tracy and other baseball audio fans.
I was looking, so to speak, on my MLB At Bat app the other day for this,
too.
I have been a subscriber for many years.
They used to have tons of old classic games going back to the 1940s, even
earlier.
They would call it, I think, Baseball's Best."
But when the newer time rolled up, into this MLB At Bat mobile phone app,
that type of listening disappeared.
Or at least was not provided on the app.
And so did the ability to listen to archived radio broadcasts of current
season games.
I think you can still hear both on the MLB website. But hunting for it ain't
easy. They really do put a priority on video.
That thing Tracy was speaking about, I was following it the other day.
And the only thing I found was, that it was clips of video highlights. And
it re-directed you to You Tube.
Maybe there was more to it. But I could not find it, and after a while I
moved on and gave up.
If any of you find the link for an audio page of radio broadcasts of
baseball games, last year, or any year, please share.
I will admit, I am much distressed by all the horror unfolding just now.
Baseball has always been somewhat of a refuge. To enjoy, observe and listen
to the action, taking place between the foul lines, and a book of rules,
regulated and enforced by an umpire!
Let's start an organization, shall we?
Baseball Matters?
Even more than the multi-millions dollar tv revenues, and the subsequent
multi-million dollar salaries.

Tracy,
Thanks so much for this. They must have recently updated the app as I just
checked and there are audio games now. I need to play around with it some
more as to figure out the whole calendar thing and how to select a specific
game, but was just listening to an Angel's and Royals game from 2018. So
glad this is now accessible.

A while back, someone was asking where to get audio of old baseball games,
while there are no current games. The latest version of MLB At Bat, or
whatever they call it now, says it has audio for 2018-2019 games. Haven't
checked it out yet, but will soon.
