Hi Rob.
That doesn't sound good.  If you have the model number, you can use Google
to search for a manual or instructions.  I've had pretty good success doing
that.  Or you can look for a company contact number and try calling them.
My husband is big on that, and he usually gets good answers.

Hello all:  I hope everyone is safe. I have a heater from a company called
Lifestart. There are 4 or 5 buttons on it. I can turn the heater on, but
there seems to be no way to turn it off. I have to unplug it from the wall
while it is on & then I plug it back in. To me, this makes no sense. Has
anyone out there used this kind of a heater, &, if so, is there a safe way
to shut it off. There is a high button, low button timer & eco button
whatever that is.
