[Electronics-Talk] Setting up the Gosund Wifi Smart Plug

I am stumped.  I get all the way up to where I need to connect the phone to
the smart plug's hotspot,and then I run into a problem.  If I go into wifi
settings, it is there, but then after tapping on it to connect to it, it
disappears and my iPhone apparently has not connected.  It seems like the
smart plug is turning itself off since even the app cannot see it at that
point.  Any ideas?
