When the remote and cable box wouldn't work any longer, I flipped the
switch on the power strip and left it without power for five minutes.
Then I turned the power back on and started up the TV and then started up
the cable box with the remote control.  In a few minutes I got a voice
message to hit the b key to troubleshoot the system.  So I did that then
waited.  Next announcement I got was channel 1971 HOA which is
unavailable. So I key in 603 and heard text to speech come up talking
again telling me the channel and the program. Somehow, I think Verizon
temporarily lost my fios configuration and taking these steps restored the
original configuration.  All in all good news but none of this was done
with verizon assistance since this is on a business account.
