[Electronics-Talk] Washing machine

I have a whirlpool that is all knobs and buttons. I use it every day (have 3 kids) and it’s great as a totally blind person.
I’ve never been happy with a front loader and I won’t use a washer with an agitator, too hard on clothes physically.
Go toLowes and get your hands on the models they have.

Hi,

That front loader sounds problematic. I think we would do better with one
of those top loaders without the agitator. This is an old house basically
in decent shape but not perfect so I do not think we need an appliance that
is problematic. I guess they can be pretty pricy as well. If anyone can
suggest a brand and model that I can use as a totally blind person --please
advise.

My counsin has a front loader and she doesn't like it. She is rather a
perfectionist so I am not sure if she has had any other issues besides from
not being able to add clothes to the washer after you have shut it. I heard
that some of the samsun washing machines with the bubbles on them beep when
you push them. We are both seniors so we don't want to spend a hugh ammount
on a washer especially when we could use a few other items such as carpet
in the hallway upstairs. I have helped lay carpet before. It is not hard
putting carpet tacks into the hardwood.
