You are not alone. The wifi version is a pain in the butt. I had to eplace
my router, and it took several tries before it would reconnect to the wifi
even following the instructions. Then the sautee function decided to go
haywire on me. After introducing it to a hammer, it behaved.

Hi.
We have the Smart WiFi version, and it won't stay connected. Basically, you
have two columns of buttons that flank a grid of buttons across the bottom.
I think the buttons go 5 across or so from left to right, on the first
actual row of buttons, not the columns that go above those rows find the
second button from the left side on the top of the rows. This button will
turn WiFi on or off but I haven't really figured out how it works. You can
hold it to do something different or just press it to do some other thing. I
basically just cuss at it and when my blood pressure gets up there enough it
finally will respond to something, who knows what though. It might be my
iPhone, it might be my Android, who's app is also a pain in the butt, it
might be the echo. This is a very poorly designed WiFi interface.
