[Electronics-Talk] Fubo TV, A Strong Candidate

I hear you which is why TV's with Amazon Fire TV built-in are very flexible.
I can press the button and ask A. person to play anything that I have my
Amazon Account linked to over my FireTV or indicate to play everywhere as
well.

BTW, I just took a look at Hulu Live and I really do like what I see and
copied out the keyboard commands and A. person commands for future
reference.

I won't save a tremendous amount because after adding on Internet service
then costs for cellular, it's still more flexible as one can stream across
devices as well as I see that one can have up to six separate accounts. I
really wouldn't need more than a couple of accounts but at least one isn't
tethered to a cable/cord.

I did find TCM on there and other channels I prefer so that's a win for me!

Hello Amanda and everyone,

We currently don't use the Kindle Fire or have the A Lady on our TV.
You can launch the SiriusXM App using Siri and Google Assistant but if you
want to select specific channels you must do that from within the SiriusXM
App but you cannot ask them to play specific channels. This would make
selecting channels a breeze. It would be nice to go down stairs, fire up our
Apple TV and tell Siri to, "Play Symphony Hall in SiriusXM Radio."She would
launch the SiriusXM App, select Symphony Hall, Select the "Go Live"
listening option and you'd be all set to listen to your heart's content.
Symphony Hall is XM Channel 76 for those wanting to check it out. All the
best.

You can also stream Sirius/XM via the A. person or via the TV with a Fire TV
or other similar devices which support the A. person.

I have a Lifetime subscription to Sirius/XM and it was rendered dormant for
a awhile because I didn't have an audio system setup at home. I really
enjoy it as it was prone to a lot of dropouts when actual satellite
reception from my home which is prone to a lot of RF interference due to
it's location in the Washington, DC metro area.

I really am curious about the Hulu package so guess I'll be looking into it
myself.

Thanks for sharing!

Good morning again everyone,

We'll be ordering the Fubo Elite Plan since it has a few channels the basic
plan does not. Having more than one device on which to run these apps is
another way to over-come accessibility issues. For example we found that we
could run SiriusXM Radio on our Apple TV far better than we can on our Sony
TV however the TV version is our preferred choice. We like the fact that
nonessential graphics faid once a channel is selected to help prevent image
burning something that was an issue with older HDTVS. I'm not sure how much
of a concern that is today. If newer tvs aren't susceptible to image
bvurning we can run SiriusXM on Apple TV without worry.

It's also possible that some tv apps are more usable on some devices
than on others. This is why we like to install them on multiple devices to
help resolve accessibility issues.

Right now, my two top contenders are Fubo and YouTube. Fubo definitely has
the channels I want. Youtube is much easier in the way of accessibility
though.
I decided to pay for a month of Fubo, to really see what works well for me.
I currently have Youtube TV.

Peter and Jim, have you been able to decide which plans you would want to go
with? I was looking at them tonight and I'm not sure how to pick the plan
that we want. We want one that has weather channel, possibly AccuWeather,
and lots of news channels as well as sports and history and some of those
types of things, food network, travel, that sort of thing. As well as our
local ABC, NBC, CVS affiliates. Does it seem to you that all of those are in
the basic $65 plan?
