FYI:

This model is no longer available form Amazon but they provide other vendors
with more delayed shipping speeds and some variability in price.

This one appears to be very much like the first model of the Newline brand I
purchased.

Hi here is the scale we have and it's very accurate, has a volume control
and you can either have  it speak to you quietly or turn it up if necesary.
It takes three tripple A batteries which are included. The batteries are in
teh package with the  manual. This is on Amazon.
