I am looking for recommendations for a good talking kitchen scale. I
just purchased one from the Braille Superstore (Future Aids) and I
can't believe they sell this. It's the first time I have been unhappy
with one of their products but this thing is so loud it hurts my ears
and the display is not on it properly so the buttons stick. I used to
have one that was very well made but was purchased for me when I was
in the blind vendors program but I don't know the brand or model. It
had a tear feature, the voice was clear and not ear piercing. The
buttons were also rubber and not plastic. If anybody has a
recommendation I would appreciate it.I'm thinking the vendor scale was
a Vox but I can't be sure.

P.S. Yes I contacted Future Aids, they were pretty rude and will only
give store credit with a ten percent restocking fee since I do not
want this scale replaced. As a former business owner I understand the
store credit thing but not the attitude when I said the product was
defective.
