Hi,
We have had magic jack for a few years now and it has worked out well. If
it stops working, I usually take the little magic jack gadget out of the
port for about ten minutes and replug it in again. It is not perfect but I
know a lot of people that use it including tech savvy folks at the local
college and even attorneys. I have not used the iphone app. I would
recommend the service because it works good most of the time. The voice
mail is easy to use and you get your voice mail as a email with the audio
message as an attachment. I believe that you can have your calls
transferred to your iphone but I do not use this feature. Be careful that
you use the official magic jack web site. I usually call early when they
first open when I have to renew my service once a year. I believe you can
set up auto renew. If you want to call nfbnewsline from magic jack, you
need to use the toll. Free number. Of course, the app on the iphone is
usually what I use.
