[Electronics-Talk] Accessible Phones?

The agency caters to the elderly.  So, for them, I supposed it would be alright. Someone was given one and just used it to get a upgraded iPhone for free. Hey, it beats going out and purchasing one.  Smile. I was just shocked when I heard the storage capacity. Who knows, maybe it was the old, be grateful for what you get even though it is like using a rotary phone in a touch tone world. The paternalistic world that some agencies put us in.

How much storage a person needs obviously depends on what they plan to do with their phone. If all you plan to do is make calls, send texts, stream audio and listen to one book at a time you could certainly make do with it. A person's storage needs might increase once they start storing apps which can download audio books, movies and TV shows.

I have a life, but it surely is not on my phone.  32 g storage seems like a lot to me.  I use my computer, and external drives.  Pam.

An agency for the blind had something where they would give you a free cellphone.  Only problem was, the ones they gave out were the 6, beyond updating and had 32 g storage. Not bad if you don't have a life and basically just need a phone.  Useless for most.
