I decided to buy the Sunduo Electric Kettle. It sounds like it will do what I want. I'll have to pour hot water, but I did that for decades before I got my Hot Shot. It will heat my water fast, and stop when it's boiled. Good enough for me. Thanks to everyone for your help and advice. Tracy
