Yes, there is a carrying case and I have it. I also have the adapter for
plugging it in, although I don't use it. Yes, it is a bit slow but it will
type whatever you write in to it. Unlike the plastic labelers that don't
have all the signs and are quite limiting in what you can write. Also, this
labeler does not waist tape and cuts right at the end of what you have been
writing as long as what you have written is longer than 5 characters. I
like the little guy and it has typed miles of labels for me with no trouble
at all.

The following is the receipt for my purchase of the 6 Dot Electronic Braille
Labeler.

ProxTalker.Com, LLC
327 Huntingdon Ave Waterbury, CT 06708-1413 USA
Voice: 203-721-6074 Fax: 203-721-6070 "DER
Order Date: Oct 12, 2015
6Dot Braille Label Maker

From: "Mary Wyatt" <mary at proxtalker.com>
total: $624.00

Now, here's my review.
It makes nice braille, however, it is slow as molasses in my opinion.
The shape, which is a kidney shape, is rather weird. I haven't tried using
a regular keyboard with it yet, so I can't say anything about the speed from
that perspective.
I also don't like the fact that, for the price of this device, it should
accept all sizes of the vinyl tape. It only uses the smaller sized version.
It doesn't come with an ac adaptor.
To be honest with you, if I had to do it all over again, I would have sent
it back and would use that $600 on the plastic ones.
Now, it is possible, they have improved the device by now. But I doubt it.
Oh, and another thing, and as far as I know, they haven't come out with a
carrying case for the thing.

Jolynn,
I'll have to look up where I purchased mine, but want to say that I
absolutely love it. It is expensive, but so easy to use and much quicker to
label things. It is also great as you can use contracted Braille where as
the wheel ones you cannot.

Hi,
Checking to see if anyone has any feedback on the 6dot Braille Label Maker.
Do you find it worth the expense? I have quite a bit of things both at home
and at work that I have been wanting to label for quite some time but my
little handheld labeler is just not doing the job. I just thought I would
check to see if anyone has any feedback, both positive or negative. Also,
where have you found places to purchase this item?
Thank you so much!

Jolynn
