[Electronics-Talk] Fire stick and Apple TV

You do not require a smart TV but it is no crime if you wish to add a fire stick or Apple TV to a smart TV. And Smart TVs do indeed get their firmware updated regularly.  You have quite a few options these days. Fire Stick, Fire Cube, Fire TV which is a smart TV with a fire Stick built in. Apple TV. You can add one of these to a smart TV or not Smart TV depending on your personal preference and needs. Amazon has a large screen smart TV with Alexa and Zoom built in for chatting online. I have no idea how accessible that is but if I had enough vision to enjoy a 75 or 84 inch TV I would find out. Now Comcast is getting into the hardware business with their smart TV with a talking set top box built in. And still you have the option of  using a totally not smart TV with a fire stick that costs less than $20. There are lots of options if you are willing to consider them.
