Good morning everyone,
You don't have that issue when using streaming services like
Netflix, Fox Nation, HBO Max, Apple TV Plus, and many others though the
accessibility can vary with some. Largely many of the streaming video
services we use can be used with a work-around or two. I don't remember the
last time we played a dvd. Our Xbox has a dvd player should it be needed. I
was a big fan of Daktari. It was a television show on in the late 1960s. I
have yet to find a streaming service with episodes of Daktari but have found
all 3 seasons available from Amazon on dvd. If I get desperate enough I'll
buy it. It was an awesome show. It was produced by Warner Brothers. I
understand that Amazon and Warner Brothers are in negotiation to make their
films and television series available via Prime Video. Add audio description
and the ability to enable it with Alexa Clarrence the Cross-Eyed Lion will
roar again!

My CD player plays the DVD. It's getting past the menu and selecting the
episode I want to watch that's the problem.

Is the CD drive on your computer equipped to play DVD? If so, you wouldn't
need VLC. The CD drive on my computer plays DVDs.

People here recommended VLC Media Player as a way to play DVDs on my
Windows PC. I got it, but I'm having trouble with it. I was hoping I could
put in a DVD of a movie or TV series and watch it on my PC, but it's very
difficult to get out of the menu bit that starts most DVDs and pick a show
to watch or start a movie.
I get into the menu of the software and try checking or clicking various
things, but I stay stuck in the menu "episode". Once, after about half an
hour of trying things, I got into a movie, but it was dumb luck and I wasn't
able to do it again.
Can anyone advise me on using this program? I am running Jaws and Windows
10.

Thanks.
