[Electronics-Talk] Rainbow color reader

My Rainbow Color Reader just bit the dust.  It was much the best color
identifier I've found, and it wasn't ridiculously expensive, either.  I
Googled to find a replacement, but all I found was a company saying they
might make it, but not now. 

Does anyone know where I can get this handy little device? 

 

I see others, like something called "talking color identifier", and the
Colorino, but they're much more expensive, and I really don't know how well
they work. 

I know Seeing AI on my iPhone has a color identifier, but it has never been
useful to me.
