Ruben,
If you don't readily fine an answer, this should get you started. When you touch the very bottom of your screen, you should hear a different sort of "click". Keep your finger on the screen and slide up until you hear another click. Lifting your finger off the screen at that point should give you the HOME function.
If you touch the very bottom of the screen and hear the different sound I mentioned above, and then you slide your finger up until you hear two clicks, lifting your finger off the screen will put you in the App Switcher just like pressing HOME twice.
You can do the same sort of pattern starting at the top of your screen but you will get different results. The first click will give you the Control Center. If you keep sliding your finger down the screen, your phone may vibrate quickly rather than click, but you will then be in the Notification Center.
There are other effects of all of this. When I made this switch, I changed the method of starting and stopping VoiceOver to use three quick presses of the side button. You may also need to change how you access Siri if you previously held down the HOME button.
Once I knew what to do, I really didn't have any trouble with doing this. The biggest irritation for me is that sometimes I touch close enough to the bottom of the screen when wanting to activate something else that this process starts. However, I have found that if I don't slide my finger up but just wait, I will hear the icon I am touching and things work as expected.
My phone is an older model than yours, but I don't think there are any differences. However let us know if anything I have written here does not work for you or is incorrect on your model.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Steve Jacobson

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] new iphone
Hello,
Don't know if there is a better place to ask this, but just got a new iPhone
13 upgrading from an 8. Wondering if anyone knows of some good Utube videos
or tutorials for using an iphone with voice over without the home button.
Thanks
Drew
