There are other models with battery or hard wiring options.  I think
the newer doorbells may offer options for quick release of the battery
allowing you to easily take off a dead battery and replace it with a
full one so that you can have it on all the time.  Ours isn't that
model, but I'd look for a model like that and we will when we update
ours.  I'd go to Best buy although we got ours at Trget and were able
to get help putting it up,  but Best buy and maybe Home Depot and
other stores may offer installation services.
