[Electronics-Talk] Request for wireless microphone for Hybrid chapter Meetings

Hi.


There used to be one that was shaped like a ball that was exceptionally 
good for letting you pass it around without having a lot of issues wit 
handling noise. Here I just found it or one like it.

As of this writing though it is $219. You didn't really specify your 
pricepoint just that it was low. The cool thing about this one is yes it 
is wireless, and it mutes while in movement. You're supposed to be able 
to throw it or roll it, but someone walking it around and handing it to 
people will get better longevity out of it I should think, and it mutes 
when being moved very much to cut down on rackety handling noise. 
They'll need to hold it still for a second or two to get it to unmute 
after they've got hold of it.


This next cheaper one has 4 hour battery life on the base station. I 
assume you can charge the base station while in use but nobody in the 
reviews mentioned doing so. The microphone itself takes 2 AA batteries, 
rechargeable or not. I think it's an icecream cone shaped device. It is 
unidirectional, the person will need to talk directly into the end of 
it. I am unsure if this comes with two microphones or just one and you 
can add a second one.

Here's a newer version of the same thing that has rechargeable 7 hour 
batteries in both microphones, which it does come with two of.

I notice the last linked item has xlr output as well as quarter inch trs 
and 8th inch trs, so what ever you need to connect it to will work with 
this I think, as long as it has those connections. These microphones are 
meant to be used with other Bluetooth speakers and allow singing while 
simultaneously playing music from an iPhone but I don't see why one 
couldn't use them without that function, just plug the 3.5mm output etc 
into an audio mixer or amp, it does mention that you can do this.
