Yes, mine has the four knobs.  I never use the timer on the machine, but 
just use the timer on my phone or Alexa's timer.  As far as the temp.  I put 
a bump dot at 350, which is about at one o'clock.  I cook most everything at 
that temp.

I have found that cooking a steak using the air fryer setting works great. 
I like medium rare, so air fry the steak in the basket and cook it five 
minutes on each side.
