And here's the link to mine. It's only 4.5 quarts, but it would be good for two people.

I got my slow cooker on amazon. I think it was a rival. It's simple, with one dial with click stops for low, high and warm, and of off. I always read reviews on amazon, and one of the reviewers was blind and mentioned the stops in the dial, which was why I bought this one, after my 30-something year old crock pot finally bit the dust.

Congratulations on your marriage!
A couple years ago I went to Target and looked at crock pots, and there was one just the right size for two people with a nice dial that clicked to each setting. Couldn't be easier.
There are cookbooks for crockpots on BARD and Bookshare. Slow cooker and crockpot are the same thing.

Hi,

I’m new to this list and newly married, and my husband and I have electronics purchases to do, but I’m not American, so, I feel so lost which brands and models are accessible here for Blind people. You’ll see emails here regarding different products.

I’m looking for a slowcooker. I want analog buttons or ideas how to mark up a touchpad, I’m not interested in products which you can use with your iPhone because that’s not an accessible product for me and my husband and I don’t have Wi-Fi at home and never will. Do you have any recommendations?

Kinn regards,
