It is a dumb phone. If you want something with physical buttons that allow
you to control a smart phone I recommend the Hable One. If you want to

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] The Blind Shell, a Very Dumb Phone!
Good evening everyone,
The only way we would invest in a phone like the Blind Shell is if
it was a fully-featured phone and had all the features of a smartphone and
allowed you to install and run any app you please including Lyft and Uber.
Even the newest encarnation of the Blind Shell is still very limited in what
apps you can run on it. Both of us would welcome such a device if it had all
the capabilities of a regular smartphone with the edition of tactile buttons
including buttons to launch apps you use regularly just as you can on a
desktop or a tablet. Lets hope we see more such phones with everything a
smartphone customer would want but with tactile controls very soon.
