[Electronics-Talk] A New Totally-Featured Push-Button Phone is Definitely needed

Good afternoon everyone,
I don't mean to belabor the point but the points made below are a clear reason why a fully-featured push-button smartphone is needed instead of the sorry dumb phones that have come out recently which do not allow one to use services like Lyft and Uber forcing customers capable of using these services with a push-button phone to use of third party services like Gogo Grandparent making the use of rideshare services less costly. This is just one of many examples I can think of why a fully-featured push-button smartphone is needed. I smell a resolution in the works for consideration at this year's NFB Convention.

GoGo Grandparent allows you to book Uber rides with any telephone, even a land line phone, once you register with them.
They charge the regular Uber fare, plus an additional charge of 27 cents per minute for their service. So a one hour Uber trip would cost the regular Uber fare, plus about an additional $16for the Gogo Grandparent service. This could become very, very expensive if you make a lot of trips with Uber. But the dirty little secret about Uber and Lift that nobody likes to talk about is that they can leave you stranded with no way to get home. Suppose you book a Uber trip to go to a doctor's appointment. When the appointment is finished, you call for a return trip to go home, but you are told, sorry, we don't have any vehicles available to pick you up? Then what? Gogo Grandparent tells you to have a "Plan B" for such a contingency. Seriously? What are you supposed to do? Walk all the way home? Caveat emptor. For anyone who has used GoGo, please share your experiences.
