[Electronics-Talk] lights and remote operation of them

Hi All,
I’m interested in getting lights in lamps which can be turned off hands free.

I’ve used standard lights where you turn them on and off with a switch or light switch on the wall.

I’m interested in something high tech.
What lights out there
can be connected to Alexa or other smart speakers so she can turn them on and off? 
Can you program the Amazon Echo wich has Alexa  in it to automatically turn off and on lights?

What about lights you can connect wirelessly to a clicker so you don’t have to walk way over to the light to turn it off and on?


I don’t use apps much as touch screens are not my thing. But, I do use some.
What apps can remotely control lighting if any?
