[Electronics-Talk] Countertop dishwasher

As Tracy mentioned, there are indeed the type which will actually fit on a countertop, sort of like a microwave or a toaster oven.

A portable dishwasher is a different version, altogether. It does roll around on wheels. We had one in an older style home while I was growing up. I seem to remember too, that it was top loaded. The top rack lifted out, so you would load the bottom rack and then put the top rack in and load it. Then, you can see the awkward logistics of unloading the thing. I would opt for paper plates, before having to deal with one of those!

I had one of those in my old condo. They take up lots of space, but you can wheel them around in the kitchen.

The dishwasher I had also had a cutting board on top, so you had extra
mobile counter space. Also, they tend to be a little noisy.
Otherwise, they work fine.--Matthew Chao
