If you have Be My Eyes on a smartphone, that would help you immensely.
The AI in that app is very impressive. Give it a shot.

I think a light probe should do what you want. If you have an iPhone, there
is a "light" channel in Seeing-AI that works pretty well. There is also a
"Light Detector" app for the iPhone that I think is pretty cheap. There are
light probes available yet from some sources but they are more scarce now
with the availability of that functionality on the iPhone.
I have used them to tell if batteries are charging, using the LED on the
charger. They can detect pretty weak lights. Also, the pitch is
proportional to the brightness of the light so you can sometimes detect if a
light has multiple levels, and they will tell you if a light is flashing.
Probably TMI.
Best regards,
Steve Jacobson

Question for you guys. I vape marijuana and yes, I
do it legally. I sometimes use disposable vapes and they have a light on the
bottom end that lights up when you are getting a hit. That isn't the
problem, the problem is that the light *not* coming on seems to be the one
sure way to know the vape is done.
This matters because I do use this for medical reasons. One thing the weed
helps with is panic attacks brought on by a miscarriage. I'll start to
panic, vape, not feel better and wonder what's going on and it's always the
light, the vape is done. I'm wondering if there is a light probe that will
tell me what the light on the vape is doing?
