[Electronics-Talk] phone link app or others to send texts to Iphones and other IOS devices

Hi all,

 

I desire to send text messages to people with IPhones or other IOS devices
like an Iwatch.

Many people have IPhones that I communicate with.

I'd rather use my windows laptop because I have the keyboard and know how to
use the windows keystrokes.

While I do have an old Ipad, I'm not a fan of touch screens since for me
they seem sensitive; a two finger action may feel like a three finger one if
you even accidently bump the screen with a third finger or touch it while
trying to do the gesture by mistake.

 

 

I read that the Microsoft phone link app might be a way to do this. 

Anyone used this and if so, is it usable with a screen reader?

Is the phone link app easy to use? Can you load in contact info in it like
names and common phone numbers so you can access them easier to send
messages?

 

Do you know of other apps doing the same thing that are accessible?

 

I use the standard Outlook app now for email messaging now and I heard
sometimes you can send text messages as emails but have not tried it.
