Hello Darla,
Excellent question!
I cannot speak from personal experience.
I know people who use a few door bell systems.
I've heard good things about the Ring door bell; I know a few blind people
using it from my NFB chapter. My brother and a few friends use it who like
it; they are sighted.
>From what I've heard its easy to use. I think it also let's you talk to the
people at your door and they can talk to you.
This system integrates with the smart assistant from Amazon. So if you use
an Alexa device, you can use the ring system through her.
Some video door bell systems also let you lock and unlock doors remotely if
you use an electronic padlock system for your door. I'd say this is a
convenient feature.
For us, it would be neat if they had facial recognition or some way to
program familiar faces into the system and then the system tell you who is
at the door based on facial recognition. But I do not think any of them do
this.
HTH,
Ashley

I know this has been discussed before, but I'm not good at searches.
What doorbell cameras are accessible to totally blind folks?
Thank you all very much.
Darla
