I can only comment on the blue tooth ability of the 3.  Not sure if it is just the age of the victor stream/trekker.  However, I have an older set of blue tooth in ear headphones which won't work with it.  They do however, work with the 3.  I bought the 3 from Human wear at $499 brand new. Some are going for $300 still in the box, hardly used.
