Good afternoon everyone,
I saw several posts here from folks that use Denon Equipment and the
Heos App. Twice we've had an issue where the Denon Receiver volume goes low
and I'm not able to control the volume via the receiver knob and our
wireless headphones don't work. We hear audio via all of our devices but
believe they're using the tv's speakers. However the volume is so loud that
we believe it's being routed through the sound system's speakers when the
receiver is on.
We have the Heos App installed on our smartphones but don't know
what to check in an attempt to fix the problem. One technician suggested
unplugging the receiver, waiting a minute, and plugging it back in to clear
up the trouble. I did this this morning without success.
A Bjorn's Technician will be here tomorrow to troubleshoot but I
told them that I'm not willing to pay $185.00 every time this happens. It's
important for me to get my headphones going to avoid complaints from the
neighbors particularly late at night.
If any of you Denon enthusiasts have had this issue Please tell us
how we can fix it independently. Besides Heos I believe there's also a way
to control one's Denon devices via a Web portal. Has anyone used this and
how well does it work with screen readers?Your tips and tricks will be very
much appreciated. Happy new year everyone.
