In my experience, the issue, generally, is that the phone is either not given enough time to auto-focus or is not held at the proper distance for auto focus to work. This article provides some tips, though they are not specific to blind or low vision persons. If we come across something specific I will be sure to post. Hope this helps. 😊

Have you tried applevis.com? If you can't find what you want, maybe by searching for "picture", you can ask. You have to have an account to post, but it's free, and they never bother me with pestering emails.

Does anyone know of a good resource that explains how to take pictures that are not blurry-especially of small items-on the iPhone? Often, when I try to have apps like Be My Eyes recognize my photos, it complains about them being blurry.
