I so wish I had a working optacon.
Despite AI, OCR on a cellphone, or laptop, Despite Aira, Be My Eyes and all of that! There are still uses for an Optacon, which I haven't found anywhere.

Hi,
I heard about the optacons around 10 years ago by some Blind friends who are a generation older than me and it sounded like a dream aid for me as a book lover. Anyone is willing to shortly redescribe how the optacon works? Thank you!
