First this is not an acceptable solution for a jaws solution!  Let me give an answer relevant to Jaws.
Change the  copy on screen to 
Select and Copy From Virtual Cursor
Just be in the web browser do 
Insert V search for copy.

There has been stuff about this on the BT Speak list, and I vaguely remembe=
r something from Freedom Scientific. You can ask them, work arounds include=
 using Firefox and/or NVDA

Anyone else running into the issue of being unable to copy text from  a bro=
wser, in my case Chrome into a document?  I am running JAWS 2025 and Google=
 Chrome latest version and while I can copy a heading such as a book title =
I can not copy the author information or synopsis from bard.loc.gov
