Sadly yo made a tragic mistake. You will want to return the nest ASAP. Google is shutting down all nest thermostats at the end of October. This means all smart features will stop working and it'll become a dump stat. The app will not support them anymore.

I suggest you return it ASAP and get a ecobee.
