[Electronics-Talk] Accessible cable TV

Optimum gave us their new streaming box with accessibility through Google
Talkback.  It works reasonably well.  My only real complaint is that, if I
put in channel #21, for example, it announces what's on Channel 2.  But it
actually goes to 21, and, if I need to use the guide, it's the guide for the
channel I'm on and not the one it announced.

I have access to the guide, which I didn't before except for the channel I
was on.  Now I can use it for any channel.  I can also access On Demand, if
I want it.  And I can use the DVR, as I could before.

I've turned on the secondary audio, but couldn't tell if it was working,
because PBS seems to be playing old shows that don't have it.  But today I
discovered that I have descriptions on the Hallmark channel, which I didn't
get before.

So, all in all, it's working well.  All I have to do is figure out how to
get to what I want, because it's different, but I'm catching on.
