Hi everyone,

 

I have exciting news, our efforts to secure a follow up appointment with the
office of Representative Sheila Chirfilus-McCormick, (District 20), have met
with success. This meeting will be the first of many appointments we are
setting up over the next few weeks in what we are calling our 2022
Mini-Washington Seminar. Even though we met with her office on February
16th, we have not seen the Representative lend her support to any of our
critical legislative priorities. Having this meeting and showing up in large
numbers may change that. We will again be meeting with the Congresswoman's
Legislative Assistant, Johanna LeBlanc.

 

Having you with us on the meeting set for Tuesday, August 2nd at 1:00 PM is
truly important and especially so,  if you are a constituent of the
Representative. Bill presentation assignments have not been worked out as of
yet, but will be soon.

 

Please see the Zoom call in information below. Keep an eye out as well for
more meetings we hope to schedule over the next few weeks.
