OK, we all know that the Tampa Bay chapter is the best chapter out there!
So, please show up for this meeting, because numbers count in times like
this! I asked that you please arrive by 1:45 PM so that way we can change
everyone’s name to have  constituent in front of it. Let’s blow the socks
off of our congresswoman and our Legislative team here in Florida. Please
see all the details below, because the link has change upon our congress
woman’s request.

I just received a call from the office of Congresswoman Castor, they have
advised that the meeting for today is back on. We are happy for the
opportunity to know that this meeting will take place, in large part
because we are told that the Congresswoman will actually be present on the
call with us.

I’m So sorry for the back and forth today, but we still do need to have you
with us if you can make it, (especially if you were already advised that
you’d be presenting an issue or if you are a constituent)

Also, very importantly, the Congresswoman’s office has provided a Zoom link
that they want us to use, not the one that we had created. Please follow
the below Zoom link, (note that there is a password for dialing in or using
direct meeting id number input.

Hi everyone,

I have more exciting news, our efforts to secure a first time appointment
with the office of Representative Kathy Castor, (District 14), have finally
met with success. This is great news to all of us here in Florida but
especially to those who reside in her District in the Tampa Bay area,
(they’ve been eagerly awaiting this meeting all year). A special thanks to
Z’leah Liburd for her many months of hard work, it’s because of her efforts
that this meeting is happening.

This meeting will be the second of many appointments we are holding over
the next few weeks in what we are calling our 2022 Mini-Washington Seminar.

Having you with us on the meeting set for tomorrow Tuesday, August 9th at
2:00 PM is truly important and especially so,  if you are a constituent of
the Representative. Bill presentation assignments have not been worked out
as of yet, but will be soon.

Please see the Zoom call in information below. Keep an eye out as well for
more meetings we hope to schedule over the next few weeks.
