Good evening members, friends, and supporters,
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Monthly Social night
hosted by the Florida Association of Blind Students. Join us every second
Saturday of the month, starting at 8:00 PM on Zoom, for fun games,
activities, trivia, movie showings, and more. For our first social,
happening on August 10th at 8:00 PM, we are going to start off with a bang
and play RS games, the popular accessible game client for the blind. RS
games consists of many accessible games like Cards Against humanity, apples
to apples, uno, Farkle, and more. Everyone is welcome to join regardless of
experience level. Don't know how to play RS games, or don't have the RS
games client installed? Don't worry; links for installation will be
provided, and we can also help you at the social. So, come and join us
tomorrow and let the fun begin. If you have any questions, you may reply to
this thread or email the FABS board at students at nfbflorida.org. Everyone is
welcomed regardless of what affiliate they are from and regardless if they
are an NFB member or not. So, I hope to see you all tomorrow, and I can't
wait to have fun.
Best,
Jose
Vice President - Florida Association of Blind Students

Note about the Client: The client, including the IOS app, does not show any
text or images on screen; the client is designed to detect a screen reader
and use speech for output. If you still wish to play RS Games and have
usable vision, the browser version will work the best. Also, if you do not
wish to download a client, the browser version is accessible, regardless if
you use a mobile browser or desktop browser. For those using mobile devices,
the browser version is better since its completely free; the IOS app is not
completely free.
