FABS Monthly Meeting Minutes

May 19th, 2024

The meeting started at 6:05 PM

Role Call by Z’Leah at 6:05 PM

All board members were present

There were 3 members in attendance

NFB Pledge recited at 6:06 PM by Z’Leah

One minute message recited at 6:08 PM by Z’Leah

Secretary’s Report at 6:10 PM

This was sent by email, everyone saw it

Christian makes a motion to accept the minutes as sent, Elijah seconded.
All were in favor.

Treasurer’s Report at 6:11 PM

Beginning Balance: $2,968.88

$102.61 was spent

$135.99 was revicied

$72 from Game night

$53.99 was donated from game night

$10 membership dues (Natalie Williams)

Ending Balance: $3,002.26

Z’Leah makes a motion to accept the report as read, Yassir seconded. All were in favor

6:18 pm

Christian makes a motion to pay Yassir for boys room at National Convention, Elijah seconds. All were in favor. The motion carries.

6:20 pm

Yassir makes a motion to reimburse Meli for gift cards from game night, Christian seconds. All were in favor. The motion carries.

Icebreaker at 6:23 PM

What did you do for Mother’s Day or what are you doing for the summer?

Yassir took his mom to a Puerto Rican restaurant. He is taking summer classes.

Elijah is planning to move to a different apartment in his area. He is planning to take summer classes this summer.

Announcements from the affiliate board at 6:45 PM

A national Convention Planning meeting was recently cancelled.

President Hernandez reminds us about fundraising,

Tom makes a motion to adjourn the meeting, Elijah seconds, the meeting adjourned at 7:04 PM.
