elections in this years business meeting at national convention, the
deadline to become an official member of NABS to be able to participate is

Hey NABSters,


I hope this message finds you soaking up the summer vibes and celebrating
the end of another epic semester! This is your friendly reminder to become
an active member of the National Association of Blind Students (NABS) for
the 2024-2025 year if you haven’t already.


Becoming an official member is super quick and easy. Not only will you be
showing your support for all the awesome programming we have in store, but
you’ll also get the power to cast your vote and make your voice heard at
our elections which occur during our annual business meeting at national
convention.


The process:

   1. Fill out our Become A Member Form

   .
   2. Pay your $5 dues via Zell (nabs.president at gmail.com) or PayPal
   (@NABSPayments). Regardless of what method you choose, please indicate that
   you are submitting membership dues in the notes section.
   3. Once your form and $5 dues have been received, the process is as
   follows:
      1. If you were not an active member in the passed two years, the
      board of directors will review your application and vote on your
membership
      status using our membership criteria. You will be notified of
the decision
      regardless of the outcome.
      2. If you were an active member in the passed two years, you will not
      need to be voted in again. You will be notified through email when your
      form and dues have been processed.


Please note that June 30th is the deadline to submit your dues to be able
to participate and vote in our NABS elections. Additionally, your 2024 NABS
membership status is valid until December 31, 2024, after which you need to
renew your membership with the organization.
