The meeting started at 6:05pm

All 7 board members are present
There were 16 total participants.
6:06pm NFB Pledge by Z’Leah
6:07pm Icebreaker Question
If flying was free for a week, where in the world would you want to go?
Answers include London, Japan, and Australia
6:12pm Treasurer’s Report
Beginning Balance: $1249.55
Money Spent: $20
Money Received: $0
Ending Balance: 1229.55
Jose made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report, Elijah seconded. All
were in favor.
6:15 PM Secretary’s Report
This was sent out by email on March 11th
Jose made a motion to accept the minutes as sent; Romario seconded. All
were in favor.
6:17pm Fundraising Committee Report
FABS Trivia Night is happening, per the Fundraising Committee
6:19pm Membership Committee Report
The flyer that we have been working on is complete and is being reviewed as
well as posting of some new videos, as per the Membership Committee.
6:22pm Announcements from the Affiliate
President Tate had mentioned that there was some updates regarding the
lawsuit on Section 504, SB1050, and HB1106. There was a meeting that was
held on March 26. Florida Statehouse member Kinkart-Johnson removed DBS
from the hb1106. Now, the senate bill and house bill do not match.
6:41pm: Travel Panel
Panelists: Elijah Grant of Florida, Rachel Ooi of California, and Hunter
Kuester of Wisconsin
Where have you flown to?
Kuester: 15 states, Belize and Jamaica
Ooi: 2 states, 15 countries
Grant: 3 states, Guyana, Kenya, London and Canada.
Elijah motions to adjourn the meeting, Jose seconds
The meeting ended at 7:06pm.
