I want to clear the airways with some people about catholics from what
I've read and have experience with catholicism from an inside
prospective thus far in my journey to finding Jesus Christ. The good
works come from the fruit or in other words labor of a good tree being
your faith. So, technically if you disobey the Ten Commandments like
Love Thy Neibhbor when they work loyaly for the service of the Lord or
even not tht you are a good catholic. However, protestants think all
you need is faith, which is agreeable under certain cases like out of
ignorance of the Ten Commandments and what they mean. However, if you
willingly condone, counsule or whatever to aid and abed these sins
then you are just as guilty as the victimizer themselves. I think that
catholics personally have this right and about confession. Well, there
are several quotes on both sides like the pharacies condemming Jesus
for forgiving people of sin. Well, there are quotes in the Gospels
about before dropping money into the donation plate to forgive your
brother or be forgiven by him. There are tons of other quotes and the
concept that Peter the first Bishop of Rome was the inheritor of sorts
of Jesus's represenative on Earth till he returns. In either case, I
think it pales in comparison to purgatory and fasting that are my key
reluctants left in the faith. Once they are answered I'll probably
join the faith for real instead of being a precatholic. This is just
my opinion but catholics have the toughest penalties towards marriage
in all christian belief. They also by and large don't support abortion
nor gay marriage and support free markets not capitalism and communism
either.
