Peter,

Please understand that while you have the right to express yourself in general, we also have a right to define the 
purpose of our lists.  There is nothing in the constitution that obligates anyone to provide you with a microphone.  
<smile>  The list moderator has the right to define the topic of any list within the general guidelines of all of our 
NFBNET lists.  Please don't confuse attempts to keep this list on topic with preventing you from expressing yourself.  
None of us can say whatever we want on just any list.  The idea of this list originally was to help blind persons deal with 
problems having to do with blindness within their faith, whatever that faith happens to be.  I think this list wanders from 
that quite a bit, but I'm not the moderator so what I think doesn't really matter, however, I believe it is fair to say that the 
purpose of this list was never to generally debate the validity of various faiths nor to try to convert anyone to a given 
faith.  The primary purpose is to help blind persons participate within their faiths, whatever they happen to be.
