[Faith-talk] Koran question

Hi -- who are the translators of the 4 versions?
My brother has made a study of 6 English translations, comparing verses to 
the original Arabic, and claims there are some fundamental disagreements on 
certain points -- well, according to him anyway.  He is convinced that none 
of the translated versions is completely accurate in all verses.  If you 
send the list of names I'll ask him his opinion. He is Christian, but is 
interested in studying other religions.  Oh, by the way, he also says the 
English Bible isn't translated correctly in all verses...

I have a Super CD from National Braille Press that has four different 
versions of the Koran.  Does anyone know whose translation is supposed to be 
the most accurate?
